Not Ragged at All!
The inn seems like an ideal place to stay if you wanted to spend a week fishing out of Islamorada…we weren't there to fish and it was still ideal. The inn is set back off the highway and so is very quiet. The rooms are large and comfortable and there is a pool and a look-out stand, but for first-time visitors there is also an extremely helpful staff who made suggestions about where to eat and what to see, and even helped me pick and book a snorkeling trip for the full day we spent there. And much like a larger hotel, there's a binder in the rooms which is also filled with information about the area. Resort Policies

Reservations/Cancellations:
Due to the limited number of guest accommodations we have the following resort policies in place:
• Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will be charged a deposit of one-night stay plus tax.
• If renting multiple rooms (even under different names), or renting during a holiday, cancellations made within 21 days of arrival will be charged a deposit fee of one-night stay (per room) plus tax.
• For group events (weddings, parties, meetings, etc.) the cancellation policy is 90 days’ notice for full refund of deposits. If cancellation occurs within 90 days, the agreed upon deposit shall be forfeited.
• Please: No visitors, other than registered guests, are permitted on the resort property.
• Refunds will not be issued for early check-outs for guests leaving earlier than the scheduled departure date. Exceptions are made in the event of a severe weather event.
• Refunds will not be issued for checking in on a date later than the originally agreed upon arrival date.
• In case of no-shows, the first night stay plus tax will be charged to the provided credit card.
• Our rates are based on double occupancy. For additional guests, a $20 fee, per person, per day is applicable.
• Additional fees will be assessed for early check ins/late check outs, and any damages to resort property.
• Our studio/efficiency accommodations include one parking space and two-bedroom suites include parking for two vehicles. There is a $20 fee for one additional vehicle.

- Use of any amenities or equipment is done so while holding Ragged Edge Resort LLC harmless for any injury or accident arising from the use of any amenities or equipment that Ragged Edge Resort LLC offers.
- Ragged Edge Resort LLC is not held responsible for lost, stolen, or otherwise damaged property of our guests during their stay.
- Damage: In its unlikely event, guests shall be responsible for any personal damage to any part of the resort property during their stay.
- Resort amenities including swimming pool, bicycles, harbor, games, etc. are for registered guests’ use only.
- Bicycles may be used by guests 15 years or older, or who are of the required height, and supervised by a parent or guardian over 18 years old.
- We do not accept pets of any kind, (Except for service animals).
- Each room includes 1 parking space. Parking for approved additional vehicles is available in our gravel lot adjacent to the resort.

- Call or email for current rates. Boat dockage must be reserved prior to your arrival. Includes: Boat launch, dockage with power, fresh water hoses, fish cleaning station, and boat trailer storage
- We are unable to accept sailboats or catamarans due to harbor depths.
- We do not allow wave runners or jet skis at the resort. Rental/tour companies are close by!
- Boat trailers may not be parked in main parking lot; our boat trailer parking is located adjacent to the main resort buildings. See the site map below for reference.
- Boat launching and pulling is subject to tides. Please consult local tide charts for accurate information.

Directions to Ragged Edge Resort & Marina
Driving from Miami or Ft. Lauderdale: Follow Florida’s Turnpike south until it ends in Florida City then continue south on US 1 to Plantation Key in Islamorada. Please note: The Florida Turnpike is “Toll by Plate.” Visit FloridasTurnpike.com for details.
Small islands attached by bridges make up The Florida Keys. As you are traveling south in the Keys on US 1, the locals use the terminology that everything on your right is “bayside,” and everything on your left is “oceanside.” We also refer to places as being at “Mile Markers.” The Florida Keys stretch from Mile Marker 106 in Key Largo to Mile Marker 0 in Key West. When you arrive on Plantation Key you will see a large Ragged Edge Resort & Marina sign on the oceanside, (your left,) at Mile Marker 86.5. Turn left off of US 1, follow the signs along Treasure Harbor Drive to our oceanfront resort.
Arriving by Boat
Our marina’s GPS coordinates are 24° 57.217′ N by 80° 34.298′ W. We can accommodate motor vessels with a draft of up to 3 1/2 feet. Our marina has a protective seawall with a u-shape docking area.
